Asking the assistant anythingThe Drivings assistant is a driving tutor that knows the rules for your region. Ask it to explain something you got wrong, quiz you on a topic, or settle a question about a road sign, and it answers using the DVSA's material rather than general web knowledge. It is included with Pro.
Voice modeVoice mode is a spoken, hands-free conversation with the Drivings assistant — you talk, it talks back, with no typing. It is included with Pro, and it is by far the most credit-hungry feature, because it is continuous audio in both directions.
Reading replies aloudLet the assistant read answers back to you.
Dictation and read-aloudYes, both. Tap the microphone in the Drivings assistant to dictate a question as text you can edit before sending, and tap read-aloud on any reply to hear it spoken with each sentence highlighted. Both are included with Pro and neither uses credits.
Quizzes in the chatYes. Ask the Drivings assistant to quiz you on any topic and it runs a scored quiz inside the chat, with a progress bar, a running score and a streak. Questions come from the same theory test material as the course, and correct answers earn real XP.
Sending photos and documentsYes. Attach a photo, an image from your library, or a document such as a PDF to a message in the Drivings assistant, and it will read it and answer questions about it. Attachments use more credits than a plain text message.
Finding an old conversationDrivings saves your assistant conversations to your account, so you can reopen an earlier one from the history menu in the assistant and carry on where you stopped. They sync across every device you are signed in on.
Sharing a conversationYes. Any Drivings assistant conversation can be shared as a read-only link that works without an account. The link shows the text of the conversation only, and you can revoke it at any time, which stops it working immediately.
What the assistant remembersYes. The Drivings assistant keeps a small set of notes about your studying — the topics you struggle with, your test date, how you like things explained — so it does not start from nothing each time. You can read, edit and delete these in Profile then Assistant memory.
When the assistant won't replyWhen the Drivings assistant stops replying it is usually a lapsed Pro subscription, an empty credit balance, or a connection that dropped mid-reply. Check Profile then Subscription for the first two, and reload the page or reopen the app to clear an interrupted reply.
