Using Drivings

Account & privacy

Sign-in details, connected accounts, your data, and closing your account.

Changing your email or passwordChange either from your Drivings profile: Profile then Email, or Profile then Password. Changing your email sends a confirmation to the new address, and the change only takes effect once you have opened that link, so the address on the account is always one you can reach.
Google and Apple sign-inYes. Drivings supports Google and Apple sign-in, and you can connect or disconnect either from Profile then Connected accounts. Connecting a second method is worth doing: it gives you another way in if you ever lose access to the first.
Devices you're signed in onOpen Profile then Account in Drivings. It lists the devices your account is currently signed in on, with when each was last active, and lets you sign any of them out individually without disturbing the device you are using.
Closing your accountOpen Profile then Account and choose Close account. Drivings cancels any active subscription and removes your personal data. If you have ever paid, the payment records themselves are kept in anonymised form, because tax and accounting law requires us to retain them.
Notifications and remindersOpen Profile then Preferences in Drivings. You can switch each kind of message on or off individually — daily study reminders, streak alerts, exam countdown reminders and the weekly summary — so you can stop one without silencing everything.
Exam date and remindersSetting your theory test date in Profile then Exam date tells Drivings to show a countdown, shift your practice towards your weakest topics as the day approaches, and give you a dedicated screen on the day itself. You can change or clear the date at any time.
Switching between the UK and USOpen Profile then Region and choose the country you are testing in. Drivings then switches your courses, practice questions and help content to that market — the UK follows the DVSA theory test, the US follows your state permit test. You can switch back at any time.
Your data and privacyDrivings holds your account details, your study progress, and your assistant conversations. Card numbers are never stored by us — payments go through Stripe, Apple or Google. You can ask for a copy of your data, or have it deleted, by emailing support@drivings.com.
Inviting friendsDrivings gives you 7 days of Pro when a friend you invited starts a paid plan, not when they sign up. Only you receive it, and it always ends after 7 days by itself. You are never charged for a subscription you did not choose.
