Drivings gives you 7 days of Pro when a friend you invited starts a paid plan, not when they sign up. Only you receive it, and it always ends after 7 days by itself. You are never charged for a subscription you did not choose.
How it works
- Open Profile → Invite friends and copy your link.
- Send it to whoever you like. There is no limit on how many people you invite.
- When one of them starts a paid plan and their first payment clears, 7 days of Pro is added to your account.
The reward goes to the person doing the inviting. Your friend does not get a trial for signing up — what they get is Drivings, on whichever plan they pick.
Why it waits for the first payment
Signing up through your link records the connection immediately, so there is nothing for you to claim. The reward itself only vests once your friend's first payment has cleared. The Invite friends page tracks each invite through those stages, so you can see when someone has signed up but not yet subscribed.
What the 7 days include
Everything Pro does — the assistant, Listen, voice mode and dictation. It is full Pro access rather than a reduced version of it, and Plans and Pro covers what that includes.
After the 7 days
The reward ends on its own and never turns into a paid subscription. That is the case whether or not you have a card saved with us from subscribing before, and there is nothing you need to cancel.
While it is running, Profile → Subscription shows the reward as an annual plan on trial with an end date already set against it. That is expected — the end date is fixed at the moment the reward is created, and it is what stops the reward turning into a paid plan.
If you want to keep Pro after the 7 days, start a plan yourself from Profile → Subscription; our plans sets out the options.
If you already have a plan
A reward cannot be stacked on a subscription you already have, so nothing is granted to an account with a live plan. If a friend subscribes while you are already on Pro, the invite still counts as subscribed on your Invite friends page, but no 7 days are added.
