Drivings for AI assistants

Your driving-test study tools, inside your AI assistant

Ask ChatGPT or Claude to search driving guides, find a test centre, explore the right study path or shape a realistic plan around your test date, using Drivings information.

Useful from the first question

What your assistant can help with

Use normal language. Your assistant can call the right Drivings tool and bring the result back into your conversation.

Search driving guides

Find published Drivings guidance by topic or question, with update dates and canonical links.

Read reviewed guidance

Retrieve a concise guide in the conversation, including its primary sources when an editorial review is available.

Find a test centre

Search source-backed centre records, including coverage notes, verification dates and evidence links.

Choose a study path

Compare the study options Drivings publishes for UK theory tests and US learner-permit preparation.

Build a realistic plan

Turn your test date, available days and preferred study time into a bounded schedule. The preview is not saved.

Continue from your progress

Connect your Drivings account to let your assistant view your course, target date and recent study activity.

Connect in a few minutes

Choose your assistant and add Drivings. ChatGPT can use it without an account; Claude asks you to connect once. Only the personal-progress tool reads your own data, behind an explicit consent screen.

Custom app setup

Use Drivings in ChatGPT

ChatGPT currently requires a one-time custom app setup before Drivings can appear in a conversation.

  1. 01

In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Plugins and turn on Developer mode.

  2. 02

In the plugins directory, choose New plugin, paste the Drivings MCP endpoint and set authentication to Mixed.

  3. 03

Review the discovered tools, then choose Use without an account, or sign in to include your own progress.

Prefilled connection

Use Drivings in Claude

Claude can add Drivings as a custom connector. The button below prefills its name and public endpoint for you to review.

  1. 01

Open the prefilled custom-connector screen in Claude.

  2. 02

Review the Drivings name and endpoint, then select Add.

  3. 03

Select Connect, sign in to Drivings, then enable it from the Connectors menu: Claude offers a connector's tools only once it is connected.

Building or reviewing an integration?

Inspect the live capability contract, OpenAPI description and public Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. All public connector tools are read-only; the optional personal-progress tool also remains read-only and requires explicit Drivings OAuth consent.

Streamable HTTP endpoint: https://mcp.drivings.com/mcp

Claude sends only the selected tool name and its declared inputs to the connector. The guide, centre and planning tools require no Drivings account at the endpoint itself, though a client may still ask you to connect the connector once. The connector never books a test, makes a purchase, sends a message or changes learner data.
