Choose the country where you will actually sit the test, not where you live. The UK track in Drivings follows the DVSA theory test and the Highway Code; the US track follows your state's permit test. You can switch at any time in Profile then Region.
Which to pick
The one whose test you are taking. If you are learning in the UK on a foreign licence, the UK track is what matches the test you will sit.
What it changes
Your courses, practice questions, mock tests and help content all follow the region, because these are two different bodies of material, not translations of one another.
Switching later
Profile → Region, at any time, as often as you like. Progress is kept separately per region, so switching does not wipe anything: come back and your first course is where you left it.
Your subscription is not affected and you never pay twice.
