How do I cancel my Drivings subscription?

Updated Aug 4, 2026

Cancel a Drivings subscription wherever you bought it. If you subscribed on the website, cancel in Profile then Subscription. If you subscribed inside the iPhone or Android app, cancel in your Apple or Google account — Apple and Google do not let apps cancel their subscriptions.

First, work out where you subscribed

This is the part that catches people out. Drivings sells Pro in three places, and a subscription can only be cancelled where it was bought:

Where you subscribedWhere to cancel
drivings.com, in a browserProfile → Subscription
The iPhone or iPad appApple account → Subscriptions
The Android appGoogle Play → Payments & subscriptions

If you cannot remember, check which email your receipt came from. A receipt from Apple or Google means the subscription is theirs to cancel, not ours.

Cancelling a subscription bought on the website

  1. Open Profile → Subscription.
  2. Choose Cancel my subscription.
  3. Pick the reason that fits best — this one is required, and it is genuinely what we use to decide what to fix next. The comment box under it is optional.
  4. You may then be offered a discount to stay. Decline it to carry on cancelling.
  5. Confirm.

You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for; cancelling does not cut you off mid-term and does not delete anything.

Cancelling a subscription bought in an app

iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Drivings, then Cancel Subscription.

Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Drivings, then Cancel subscription.

Apple and Google do not allow an app to cancel a subscription billed through them, so there is no button we can offer that would work. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

After you cancel

Your account stays. Your progress, streak, XP and saved conversations are all untouched — you simply return to the free tier when the paid period ends, and you can resubscribe at any time.

Cancelling is not the same as closing your account. If you want your data removed as well, see closing your account.
